Licensing Information

Open Source

The following downloads are available under the terms of dual licensing, which works as follows:

You download the source code and documentation under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 2 (GPL2) reproduced below. Please note that GPL2 can be restrictive, because it requires (in Section 2[b]) that your own code based upon the GPL2 software must also be released under the terms of the GPL2 ("reciprocity").

If GPL2 doesn't meet your needs, you have an option to license the software under different terms of Quantum Leaps commercial licenses, which are specifically designed for customers interested in retaining the proprietary character of their code. The customers who license Quantum Leaps software under the commercial licenses do not use the software under the GPL2 and therefore are not subject to any of its terms.

BY DOWNLOADING THE QP-nano SOFTWARE, YOU ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THE GPL LICENSE REPRODUCED ABOVE AND APPEARING IN THE GPL2.TXT FILE INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGING OF THE SOFTWARE. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THE GPL2 LICENSE, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE.
