Licensing Information
The following software components are available under the terms of dual licensing, which works as follows: Initially, you download the source code and documentation under the terms of the open source license (the GNU General Public License, GPL) reproduced below. Please note that the GPL can be restrictive, because it requires (in Section 2[b]) that your own code based upon the GPL software must also be released under the terms of the GPL ("reciprocity"). If GPL doesn't meet your needs, you might consider licensing Quantum Leaps software under different terms of our commercial licenses. The customers who license Quantum Leaps software under the commercial licenses do not use the software under the GPL and therefore are not subject to any of its terms. |
